Which Speakers?
There is nothing worse than buying a brand new rig and realizing that if you changed the speaker, you would have the tone you want. At Burning Amplification we want the product to ship from the factory the way you want it. You shouldn't have to buy to modify.
We offer speakers from top manufacturers in the industry. Listen to the samples on our site to determine which speaker is best for you.
If there is something new that you want us to check out, we will be glad to evaluate new sources. We will not ship a unit without speakers, as we prefer to test the product as a complete unit. We would be glad to custom order the speaker of your choosing and install it in your amplifier. Contact your local dealer to get the process started.
Stay tuned to our site as we explore even more options to help you "Find Your Tone."

Jensen
Alnico speakers produce a sweet, warm, vintage tone. They sound best at low levels and are great for blues, jazz and mellow rock. Alnico speakers respond quickly, giving the musician a "one with the amp" feel. They are world renowned as the premium speaker with the best tone.
Vintage Ceramic speakers are designed to sound similar to the Alnicos, and were first developed in the 1960's as a cost effective alternative to the Alnicos. The advantage of the ceramic speaker is its ability to handle more power as well as a player's front end pedal accessories. Vintage Ceramic speakers are recommended for all types of music, and sound best at loud volumes. The Vintage Ceramic Jensen® speakers were the heart and soul of guitar amps made throughout the 1960's and are still widely used today.
The Jensen® MODs™ are said to be "Modern, with a touch of English". Major advancements in equipment technology and the introduction of new playing styles made it necessary to develop this speaker line, which is geared to the more modern player. The same diligence and dedication put into reissuing the original Jensen® Vintage sound was used in developing the Jensen® MOD™ line of speakers. These speakers sound clear and transparent with just a hint of their British rival's sound.
The Jensen® Neodymium ("Neo") is a glimpse into the future of musical instrument speakers. Just as Peter L. Jensen's first musical instrument speaker was groundbreaking, the Jensen® Neo brings a new level of innovation to guitar amp speakers. The raw material, Neodymium, was discovered in 1885 but is just now being used in speaker magnets. Other speaker manufactures have been attempting to create speakers using this material, but only Jensen® has been able to create a Neo speaker line that has genuine soul.
Neo speakers react to the nuances of a guitarist's playing similar to that of the Alnicos. They sound good at low volumes and can handle higher power applications, delivering great tone at any volume levels. Jensen® Neo speakers are clear and clean and will enhance any type of guitar tone.
Neo speakers are half the weight of their ceramic counterparts, making them excellent for heavy amplifiers and those that require multiple speakers. Jensen® Neo speakers lighten your load without giving up power or tone.
